Ali Landry was born as Ali Germaine Landry coming from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, where she was born back on 21 Jul 1973.

She is now days known as an actress with a bit of modeling as back in the mid nineties, she competed in Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe. Her specific looks come from a bit of French in her.

Her entrance into the world of famous started when she competed for Miss Teen USA in 1990 representing her state. After not so successful placement, 5 years later, and out of teenage hood, she won the title of Miss Louisiana. She didn't stop there and wanted to go further, competing for Miss USA 1996, which she won. Ali Landry also gave it a try for Miss Universe the same year, but the questions that she answered saw her not go through to the finals. What started off as a competition when she was a teen went on to pageants for Miss Universe, and she was the first to do so (until superseded in 2000).

Apart from modeling, she also tried in the world of presenting and was a host of Spy TV in 2002. She now presents something closer to her heart and motherhood issues that celebrities face in both English and Spanish, Spotlight to Nightlight.

She was married for the whole of two weeks to Mario Lopez back in 2004, but is now happily married to Alejandro Gomez Monteverde with whom she has a son born in 2007. This got her into starting a fashion line for kids that is in stores now and can also be obtained on the website. She made appearances in various TV series (Bold and Beautiful and Clueless, as some of them) as well as movies since 2001.

She is very religious Roman Catholic and leads an active sports life. This may be thanks to her being most recognized as a girl from Doritos ads from 1998-2000.
